The other day, I had the opportunity to have dinner with Dr. Antonio Jimenez, an integrative medicine physician from Mexico and internationally renowned author of "Hope for Cancer."
I have long read your book, "Hope for Cancer," and have learned a great deal from your way of thinking and treatment philosophy. Meeting you in person and having a long conversation with you was an extremely valuable experience.
During the meal, we exchanged opinions on the potential of integrative medicine in cancer treatment and on how to provide medical care that prioritizes the quality of life for patients. Although there are differences in medical systems and cultures, I deeply resonated with their attitude of constantly thinking about "what can be done for the patient," and I was greatly inspired.
Furthermore, it was a very valuable time to hear about the professor's extensive experience and initiatives in various countries around the world. I was reminded once again that continuous learning is essential in medicine, and that it is important to look not only at domestic knowledge but also at international insights.
I will utilize the experiences and lessons learned from this encounter in my future practice, striving to provide better medical care to my patients.
I am grateful for this wonderful opportunity, and I hope to continue contributing to the development of integrated medicine while cherishing exchanges with professors both domestically and internationally.
