We held a lecture for the Harvard Business School Club of Japan.

Recently, I had the opportunity to give a lecture to alumni of Harvard Business School on the theme of "Learning about Cancer: To Understand It Correctly and Learn About the Optimal Treatment."

In my daily work in cancer treatment, I've come to realize that "understanding cancer correctly" is extremely important in making appropriate treatment choices.

Therefore, in this lecture, in addition to basic knowledge about cancer and the latest treatment methods, I also spoke about preventive medicine, which has become increasingly important in recent years.

With advancements in treatment technology, cancer care is expanding its role from "medicine that cures disease" to "medicine that prevents disease."

We also discussed the impact of daily lifestyle habits such as diet, exercise, sleep, and stress management on health, as well as the importance of early detection and treatment through regular checkups.

Following the lecture, we received many questions, resulting in a lively exchange of ideas. I was able to sense the participants' high level of health awareness and deep interest in preventive medicine, making it a very meaningful opportunity for me as well.

I believe that healthcare is not just about treating illness, but also about maintaining health and enriching each person's life in a way that is true to themselves.
