Carbon dioxide laser treatment

What is a carbon dioxide laser?

The wavelength used is 10,600 nm. When irradiated, heat energy is generated and the water evaporates, treating the lesion. As no scalpel is used, scars are less likely to remain and normal tissue is not damaged.
